Symptoms

Steps
1   Take person to a safe location away from any further harm
2   Check and make sure the person has good Airway, Breathing, and Circulation.
3   Put ice in a plastic bag and apply it to the injury for 15 min on and 15 minutes off every 1-2 hours for the first 1-2 days.
4   Apply a Buddy Wrap by wrapping gauze around the broken toe and the next biggest toe that's not broken.
5   Place a popsicle stick or cotton ball between the toes so they heal straight and apply medical tape to hold the gauze in place
6   Seek a doctor as soon as possible to check severity of injury and proceed with medical treatment.
