Tar On Fur

Tar can get on the fur of your pet from contact with a new road or sidewalk. It is quite simple to remove with basic first aid.

Steps
1   Soften the tar by placing Crisco or Petroleum Jelly on it
2   Wipe it off with paper towels
3   Repeat several times if needed
4   Wash your cat thoroughly with soap and water
Warnings
Tar can be difficult and sticky to remove but it can come out, try to wear rubber gloves to protect it sticking to you
Tips
You may need to let the Crisco or petroleum jelly soak for several min to make sure the tar softens up completely
