Scorpions are usually found in arid desert like terrain. Most scorpion stings are painful however are usually no worse than a beesting. The exception is the Bark Scorpion which in rare cases can cause paralysis and lead to death. Remember that not all scorpion stings are visible and others can cause swelling in 20 min from the initial sting. Simple first aid can help your pet giving you enough time to get your pet to the vet for further treatment.
